Tea Dueling with Dolly & Birdie!

Who will answer the call to duel? Who will be the “A Cup of the Valley” Tea Dueling Champion?

The fine and noble sport of Tea Dueling is a parlor game of skill, technique and wits between two individuals armed with only tea and biscuits. It requires audience participation, honor, quick wit and steady hands.

Join the fun as Dolly & Birdie of Hudson Valley Steampunk preside over the field of tea in a most splendid and vigorous application of tea and biscuits. No experience necessary, we will guide you through the rules. Prizes will be awarded to the champion and runner up.

A Cup of the Valley - 2019 Coffee and Tea Festival Immerse yourself in the world of locally roasted coffee, tea and pastries from local providers.

Last year, Pamela Green-Smith and her family escaped a house fire in Poughkeepsie. Only five days earlier, our volunteers had installed smoke detectors throughout the home.

Fire Prevention Week, October 7 -13, this is an important reminder to have working smoke detectors in the right locations, to be educated on fire safety, and to have an escape plan.
