πΊπΈ MEMORIAL DAY SUNSET FLAG CHANGING πΊπΈ
Join us on Sunday, May 24 for the annual Memorial Day Sunset Flag Changing Ceremony on Walkway Over the Hudson, presented by American Legion Post 739. As the sun sets over the Hudson River, veterans affairs leaders, local VFW members, and community performers will gather at the Center Overlook (by the flagpole) for a moving tribute featuring a four-gun salute, the playing of Taps, a performance of βGod Bless America,β and a carnation toss into the river in remembrance of the fallen.
The ceremony begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. and lasts approximately 30 minutes. All are welcome to attend this solemn evening of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
