Not sure when online harassment crosses the line into a potential crime?

The City has created a new guide to help residents understand the difference between protected speech and online conduct that may constitute criminal harassment, threats, or other unlawful behavior. The guide also provides information on when to call 911 or contact the police non-emergency line and how to preserve evidence if you believe a crime has occurred.

We are proud to recognize our own Lt. Shawn Ziemann for graduating today from the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy in Kennewick.

The Trilogy consists of three separate week-long advanced leadership courses focused on supervisory, command, and executive-level leadership in law enforcement.

Lt. Ziemann’s accomplishment reflects his continued commitment to professional growth, strong leadership, and service to our department and community.

You never really know when you might see one of our officers in town. One second, Officer “Mojo” Majillo is patrolling the waterfront, and the next second he is filling in as the drummer for the headlining band. There is nothing this man can’t do!

First, Officer Melton with the vocals, now Officer Mojo on the drums! Who is going to be our next officer to showcase their hidden talent?

We are proud of the employees we have here at PPD, they all have some unique talents and abilities, Officer Melton is no exception! Did you know she was a contestant on a TV reality show for singing before she worked for us? UPDATE
Tuesday 1:45pm - The roadway is expected to re-open around 2:00pm. This was a two vehicle head-on collision; one driver was airlifted and one driver was declared deceased on scene. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.

ATTENTION
Tuesday 10:35am - Hwy 305 is currently shut down between Forest Rock and Liberty Road due to a Major Motor Vehicle Collision involving two vehicles. Please avoid this area for the next several hours. Take detours where possible to provide first responders time and space to attend to those involved. Thank you.

Does anyone recognize this person or his truck? He was involved with a theft this morning off Olhava Way (near Walmart) at around 8:20 AM and we would like to speak with him.
