Just a heads up folks. The Cody shed will cease regular hours October 31st. Those hours are Monday and Wednesday 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and Friday from 7:30 till noon. Beginning in September we are open by appointment 307-254-1758. The Powell Warehouse will be open regular hours 8:00 to 5:00. You can still get product in Meeteetse at the Town Hall during Town Hall hours.
Fall is a great time to control certain perennial weeds. Even after we get a few frosts, you can still treat weeds such as Canada thistle, field bindweed, and quack grass to name a few.

📱 Your phone can do more than navigate the trail—it can help protect it. Apps like EDDMapS and Wild Spotter make it easy to report suspicious invasive plants while you’re hiking, biking, fishing, or exploring public lands. Which is right for you? 🌿

🗺️ EDDMapS is the bigger, more robust reporting tool. It helps track invasive species across the U.S. and Canada and is great for detailed reports with photos, locations, and infestation notes.

🥾 Wild Spotter is built for recreationists. It’s a trail-friendly app for reporting invasive species in wild places like forests, rivers, wilderness areas, and public lands.

📍 Both apps mean more eyes on the ground, better early detection, and a better chance to stop weeds before they spread. Read up to learn more on these two important tools from our blog post, "EDDMaps Vs. Wildspotter" ➡️ https://loom.ly/pmEITNU

Wapiti neighbors. We are back in the 'hood today mitigating leafy spurge and perennial baby's breath. Shoot me a text let me know if you have or have seen either of these insidious species. It's much easier to deal with these invasive plants here in the valley than it is up in the backcountry! Help protect our natural resources and habitat. 307-254-1758.

Up on the North Fork it's leafy spurge season! This aggressive invader is found in only a few places here in Park County. Unfortunately Wapiti is one of them. Crews will be in the area on June 16 as part of our annual North Fork spray day. If you suspect you have this growing on your property, pinch a leaf or break a stem. If you see a substance that resembles Elmer's glue, it is probably leafy spurge. This one is a true ecosystem changer, altering native habitat and reducing forage for wildlife and domestic grazers due to a caustic substance in the milky latex called ingenol. So when in doubt, give us a shout so we can confirm and mitigate. 307-254-1758.
