October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It's estimated that intimate partner violence effects more than 12 million people every year. At Crisis Intervention Services, we strive to acknowledge and assist survivors of domestic violence and their children throughout the whole year. In October we bring special attention to our survivors in hopes of raising awareness to the ongoing and long term effects domestic violence has on people.

We wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing community for coming out and supporting the 10th Annual CIS Golf Tournament! Despite the heat, we had a fantastic turnout with 17 teams/68 golfers joining us for a great day on the course. We hope everyone had a wonderful time, and we can't thank our players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters enough for making this event another success. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking throughout Park County. Commodities Distribution serves low-income families in Powell, Cody, Lovell and everywhere in between! This is FCFS (while supplies last), so please try to arrive early. If it is your first time, our wonderful volunteers will assist you with a brief registration before service.
