On November 3, voters in Powhatan County will have the opportunity to weigh in on allowing the Board of Supervisors to enact a 1% sales tax to help fund qualifying public school capital projects in Powhatan County.

We want to make sure residents understand what the additional sales tax would mean and what it wouldn't. Each Friday between now and Election Day, we'll highlight one of the Frequently Asked Questions on the sales tax referendum.

For more information on the referendum, including a complete list of FAQs, visit www.powhatanfuture.org.
