Ancient Egypt comes to life in 6th Grade World History! 🇪🇬✨
Today, our students stepped back thousands of years into the past to participate in a hands-on Ancient Egypt simulation!
If you noticed some of our scholars wearing white today, there’s a historical reason for it! In Ancient Egypt, clothing was primarily made from natural fibers like flax and cotton. While plain linen was common, white, bleached clothing represented high social status and wealth—because only the wealthiest Egyptians could afford the process of bleaching material! 🏛️🌾
Our students did an incredible job immersing themselves in the culture and history of the Nile Valley today. So proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm!
