Tomorrow, October 1, marks the beginning of a new property tax year in Alabama. We know there are a lot of dates and deadlines to remember, so here are a few important reminders from the 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞:

🏠 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 & 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐄𝐒
Property tax bills should begin arriving within the next few weeks. Taxes may be paid beginning 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏 and are due no later than 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟏. Taxes become delinquent after December 31.

Remember: Tax notices are mailed as a courtesy. If you do not receive a tax bill, you are still responsible for ensuring your property taxes are paid by the deadline.

💼 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐒 (𝐀𝐃𝐕-𝟒𝟎)
Business Personal Property Returns will also be arriving within the next few weeks and must be completed and returned by 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟏.

If you owned business personal property in Autauga County as of 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, you are required to report it. This includes items such as machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures, tools, and other taxable assets used in your business.

𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫? You are still required to complete an 𝐀𝐃𝐕-𝟒𝟎 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 and submit it to our office by December 31, even if you do not receive a form in the mail.

Business Personal Property Returns are required 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫, even if your equipment and assets have not changed.

🏡 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐒
Manufactured home registrations may now be renewed. Renewals are due between 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎. Registrations become delinquent after November 30.

𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝟔𝟓 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
Annual Over 65 affidavits must be completed and returned by 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟏 to maintain the applicable exemption for the next tax year.

If you have turned 𝟔𝟓 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫, please bring your 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 when you come to our office to complete your exemption paperwork so we can determine the exemption for which you qualify.

𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING MANUFACTURED HOME TAX BILLS

Manufactured Home Tax Bills were mailed prematurely by our printing service. We apologize for any confusion this may cause.

⚠️ Please be advised that we CANNOT accept payments for Manufactured Home Tax Bills before October 1.

If you have already received your bill, please do not mail or submit payment until October 1 or later.

Any payment received by our office before October 1 will be returned to the taxpayer and cannot be held for processing at a later date.

The bill you received is valid; however, payment cannot be accepted or processed prior to October 1.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused by the early mailing.

I had the honor of meeting the Mayor of Pine Level Mayor Zachary Bigley and the Town Council members. From the moment I walked in, the welcome was warm, genuine, and full of love.

We toured the Town Hall, talked, laughed, and most importantly, had some beautiful conversations about God and His goodness. And if you know me, you already know how much that means to me. 🙏🏽❤️

I left today knowing without a doubt that I made the right decision by coming to Pine Level.

What touched me the most was realizing that there are people in this community who have been praying for me without even knowing me. That hits different. The people surrounding me in this season feel different. The timing feels different. And honestly… this Revival feels different.

Pine Level, we are family now! 🥹❤️

I know I haven’t been able to respond to or like every post, but please know I see you. I feel the love. And I am SO grateful.

Pine Level may be a small town, but there is nothing small about the love, the people, or what we can build together. I’m here for a good time AND a long time! ❤️

I plan to be a staple in this community, and I’m excited to grow alongside you, serve you, celebrate with you, and make some beautiful memories together.

Holiday Office Closure Tomorrow

As a reminder, Autauga County Government Offices will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. Please remember Autauga County follows the official State of Alabama holiday schedule. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Monday, June 22.
