Thank you Prattville Lions Club for your help with this important equipment! We are working hard to improve cardiac arrest survival rates by placing this equipment in or around City buildings. In addition to this location, there are AEDs located in the rear entrance to the Striplin Business Center (next to the Lyric), the Public Safety Building, and we will have one installed at Spillway Park near the restrooms in the coming days. Stay tuned…

Thank you to the Prattville-Alabama Lions Club for helping to purchase and place an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) at City Hall. These devices are crucial for treating sudden cardiac arrest, as they can deliver a shock to restore a person’s normal heart rhythm. AEDs paired with high quality CPR and early activation of EMS significantly improve survival for victims of cardiac arrest.
