💙 HONORING THOSE WHO SERVE TEXAS 💙

October is Law Enforcement Appreciation Month in Texas!

The Premont Police Department proudly recognizes the dedicated men and women who serve our community and communities across the Lone Star State. Their courage, professionalism, and commitment help keep our neighborhoods safe.

We also thank the families who support our officers through long shifts, missed holidays, and the challenges that come with wearing the badge.

To our Premont community: thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. Serving you is an honor, and we remain committed to serving with integrity, treating people with respect, and protecting our neighbors.

Join us this month in thanking a law enforcement officer! 💙🇺🇸

Good morning!

We would like to announce that we are beginning our National Child ID Program here at the Premont Police Department.

What is the National Child Identification Program?

The National Child ID Program has distributed over 70 million inkless in-home child id kits since its founding following Amber Hagerman’s disappearance in 1997.

These inkless kits DO NOT enter a database and are stored at home by parents, providing them with a gift of safety they hopefully never have to use.

The kits take two minutes to complete and allow parents to safely store in their own home the vast majority of their child’s vital information should law enforcement ever need it.

These kits are now available to ANYONE at the Premont Police Department, City Hall, or with our PISD school officers.

A huge thank you to Chief Blanchard of the Sinton Police Department for working with us and helping get this program started.

Please watch the video for further information. Thank you!

-Chief Garcia

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Good afternoon!

We would like to recognize an amazing student today…Christopher Rivas! He is in 8th grade.

He is very kind, giving, humble, and unselfish quiet student. Always opens doors for everyone and never asks for anything in return.

This wonderful Premont Cowboy caught the attention of our SRO Ofc. Scaggs who gave him a Premont PD SRO recognition coin for his outstanding work.

Great job Christopher!
