NEXT TUESDAY (10/27), 5-6PM - With election day just around the corner, it's time for a little voter education!

Join us in welcoming the ACLU of Maine for an in-person presentation on Voting Rights in Maine. With variations state by state about documentation requirements, registrations, and all other things voting, it's good to get a breakdown of what we can do here in Maine! Everybody is welcome - young and old, currently voting and future-voters!

This nonpartisan event is designed to advocate for public education, and help you know your voting rights before you head to the polls this November. It is free, and open to all members of the public.

Come sit with us at the evening literacy tea!! Enjoy a bit of charcuterie and chat while supporting a great cause. ✨

Today we're highlighting our Adult Literacy Tea tables!

CIRCE!!

This table currently has 3 seats left for our Adult Literacy Tea!

This table is being hosted by Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library and this is their second year hosting!

A table fit for a goddess.
Step into the enchanting world of Madeline Miller’s Circe, where Greek mythology, magic, transformation, and the power of a woman finding her own voice collide. This table is for readers who love Greek mythology, powerful women, dark enchantment, and stories that feel like stepping into another world.

Our Adult Literacy Tea is raising funds to purchase books for MSAD #1's book vending machines. This tea will take place from 7-9PM on October 17th at UMPI! This tea will also feature an open bar and lots of great raffles!

You can purchase tickets for this table or other tables here:
