We have some incredibly exciting news to share! Our school has just been selected as one of only 40 high schools nationwide—and the very first school in Utah—to be named a semifinalist in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest!
By advancing to this stage, we have already won a $25,000 grant to improve our school's athletic facilities. However, if we can rally enough parent and community votes to finish in the top 4, we will win $250,000, with a final shot at a $1 million grand prize for a massive stadium makeover. This funding would directly benefit our student-athletes, band members, cheer squads, and every student who enjoys our Friday night community events!
We cannot do this without our parents. We need your help to win!
Public voting opens today, October 8th, and runs through October 25th. Anyone can vote once per day.
Here is how you can support our students right now:
1. Bookmark & Vote Daily: Set a daily reminder on your phone to visit FridayNight5GLights.com and cast your vote every single day.
2. Share with Family & Group Chats: Forward this email to grandparents, neighbors, and your kids' sports team group chats (like GroupMe or Band).
3. Take it to Work: If you own a local business or have a breakroom at work, please help us hang up our voting flyers!
Let’s show the entire country the power of our parent community and bring home this win for our kids!
Thank you for your incredible support,

ATTENTION Parents with students on BUS 13 and BUS 20:
Due to construction on Fairgrounds Road to Westwood Blvd, we have received notification that our buses will not be able to travel through Fairgrounds Road. This will create a situation of the buses running 10 or more minutes late both in the morning and afternoon through the remainder of this week. Thank you for your patience as we work through the construction delay and bus re-rerouting.
