Middle Road Elementary School William A. Walton Elementary is one of five FULLY ACCREDITED elementary schools located in Prince George County, which is in Central Virginia.

Children of military families who are based at Ft. Lee attend Prince George County Schools. We extend a warm welcome to our military families and other families moving into our community. You will find our schools to be outstanding as we provide the quality education you expect.

Over the past couple of weeks our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been working with Mrs. Kimble to bring computer science into their classroom! Students met Ari, an Ozobot robot, who runs on color code, and practiced programming while reinforcing math and science skills they’ve been learning.

🧪🍦 Science was bubbling with excitement in Mrs. Rock’s class this week! Our second graders started with “What’s the Matter?”—a game where they used special motions to identify solids, liquids, and gases. Then they put their learning into action by making root b**r floats! Students identified the ice cream as a solid, the root b**r as a liquid, and the gas in the fizzy bubbles. A fun, hands-on way to bring matter to life! ✨
