🏁“If you ain’t first, you’re last!” 🏁

We recently sent a few of our Deputies to Carolina Motorsports Park for some EVOC and PIT training. From the sound of things, it was a little more involved than the old Atari Pole Position game! 😂

Based on the picture they sent us, apparently the training included:

🏎️ A little “Shake and Bake”
🏁 Running the dirt course at Bristol Motor Speedway
🧱 Pulling off Ross Chastain’s famous “Hail Melon” wall ride
…and apparently trying to turn a cruiser into a NASCAR Cup car!

There’s just one problem…

This picture is FAKE! 😂

Our Deputies really did complete EVOC and PIT training at Carolina Motorsports Park, but this particular photo is AI-generated and is definitely not a picture from their training.

And that brings us to the serious part:

Just like this picture looks real but isn't, scammers can make messages, photos, and other information look legitimate when they aren't.

If you receive a message claiming to be from someone you know and asking you to send money, gift cards, payment information, or other valuables, stop and verify it through a trusted phone number or another method you know is legitimate.

When in doubt, verify before you send. 🚨

And to our Deputies: We appreciate you getting the training done without damage to the cruisers! We're just not sure who authorized the dirt track portion. 😂🏁

🚨 HONESTY & INTEGRITY CHECK — Monday, September 21, 2026 🚨

We all know how Mondays can go… sometimes we’re just trying to get through the day! 😅

If you prepaid for fuel at the Sheetz on Courthouse Road this afternoon and then realized you forgot to actually pump your gas, we may have your fuel waiting for you!

Please contact our office and ask to speak with Captain Ballard. We’d like to make sure you receive the fuel you already paid for.

A receipt would be helpful, but if you don’t have it, please bring the card you used for the purchase so we can verify ownership.

Sometimes doing the right thing is as simple as making sure someone gets what they paid for. 😉

Help us spread the word so we can get this fuel to its rightful owner!
