There's still plenty of time to enjoy the lakes this fall whether you are fishing, pontoon cruising, or riding the waves on personal watercrafts, we want to remind you of the importance of Clean, Drain, Dry and Dispose (CD3)
Remember to always Clean, Drain, and Dry your watercraft and equipment before leaving a lake to prevent the spread of invasive species.
In partnership with the Minnesota DNR, we’ve installed a free self-service CD3 boat cleaning station at Lower Prior Lake Public Water Access. This station includes a grabber tool and a plug wrench to remove plants, mud and debris from hard-to-reach places and is available 24/7.
By cleaning your boat after each use, you are doing your part in preventing the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), so that our lakes and rivers can be protected and enjoyed to their fullest potential!
