Tonight’s training topic was on ground ladders and hoisting tools with ropes.
A couple members of Cavendish Fire joined us as well. We broke the group into three groups and had three stations each with a different focus on ladder use and tools. Station 1 was working with a 14ft roof ladder. Station 2 focused on hoisting tools to elevated floors. Station 3 focused on using a 24 ft extension ladder, ladder placement for different operations, and 2 person raising and lowering. Our Jr Firefighters participated as well.
