After patiently waiting for the right family to come along, our sweet Emma has officially been ADOPTED! 🏡❤️

Emma came to us scared and unsure, but with patience, love, and lots of attention, she learned to trust again. Watching her blossom into the loving, silly, affectionate girl we always knew she could be has been so special. 🥹💕

A HUGE heartfelt thank you to Brass City Alliance for opening their doors to Emma, allowing her to stay with them, and giving her all the love, care, and attention she deserved while she waited for her forever family. ❤️🐾 We are so grateful for everything you have done for her!

And a special thank you to West Hartford Animal Control for helping share Emma’s story and getting her face and story out there. Your help played a part in getting Emma noticed and helping her find her happily ever after. 🐶💗

Now Emma gets to start the next chapter of her life with her forever family! 🏡✨

09-19-2026 7pm this female k9 was found walking on Bronson rd. She has a shock collar and recently had blood work. If you know the owner please contact Prospect Animal Control Officer at 203-509-5237.

The Prospect Police Dept. is sad to announce the unexpected passing of Officer Andrew Borelli. Ofc. Borelli was a 20 year veteran of the Connecticut State Police. Upon his retirement from the State Police, Ofc. Borelli was hired by the Town of Prospect as an officer. We were fortunate to have Ofc. Borelli protect our town residents for the last 6 years. Ofc Borelli served the citizens of the State of CT with Honor, Integrity, and Pride. He was a dedicated Law Enforcement Officer, Father, Husband and Friend. Ofc. Andrew Borelli will be truly missed.
