Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of the amazing educators out there!

You might be wondering: why the water slide photo? I had the chance to chaperone a field trip this week and saw firsthand the greatness of educators. Watching them graciously and skillfully manage a large group of excited students—getting everyone there and back safely—was inspiring. My son had a blast, and so did all the kids, thanks to their incredible choir directors who did it all with a smile and genuine care.

Teachers truly make the world a better place. Thank you to all the educators in Prosper ISD and around the globe!

Hoping all our phenomenally talented Prosper ISD educators had an awesome Teacher Appreciation week! Thank you, teachers for the work you each do every day to educate our students and help them feel loved and supported. The time and energy you give daily is making a big impact for humanity - we greatly appreciate your heart for education and our Prosper ISD students!

Tomorrow is Election Day! Polls are open 7am-7pm. Thank you to those who came out to early voting! If you haven’t voted yet, tomorrow is your last chance. Each of you has been so supportive and we need you to make one more BIG push to your networks to get out tomorrow and vote! Let’s finish strong and win this thing for Prosper ISD - together we SOAR!

One more day of early voting tomorrow (April 30th) from 7am to 7pm. If you don’t make it out tomorrow, May 4th is Election Day and your final chance to vote to let your voice be heard in support of Prosper ISD. Come out to the last day of early voting so you have your full Saturday to do all the Saturday stuff 😁 Please continue to encourage your people to get out and vote - local elections matter so much! Excited to post some photos from recent meet and greets and the Chamber’s “Meet the Candidate” event. So much fun to connect with our Prosper ISD community and earn their support! Please spread the word about early voting (April 22-30) and remind folks to get out and vote well before closing time on Election Day, May 4th. We are heading into the final stretch - let’s finish strong. I’m humbled by the support, hard work, and passion this amazing community has graciously given through this campaign process. Together we SOAR!

A couple highlights from the board meeting last night. We are so fortunate to live in this community and send our kids to a district that focuses on meeting the needs of students and educators. Sending a note of gratitude to the school board and district administrators who worked hard to give our amazing educators a pay raise for the upcoming school year - the board members were excited to approve/pass the increase and had such high praise for the talented educators in our district. I couldn’t agree more!

I’m so excited for this event. I hope to see y’all there!
