🏛️ One hundred years looks pretty good from here.

The Benton County Courthouse Centennial celebration isn’t over just yet! We thought this local landmark deserved another moment in the spotlight—and a fresh set of photos to show it off.

After all, it’s more than a building. It represents a century of people, public service, and community. Here’s to honoring its history—and capturing its best angles for the next 100 years. 📸✨

A special thank-you to local photographer Madison Evangelista for beautifully capturing this community landmark!

A little color, creativity, and community at the Columbia Valley Center for Recovery!

Thanks to a generous donation from Benton-Franklin Recovery Coalition, Spokane artists Stacie Boyer and Jennifer Batey are bringing the courtyard to life with a vibrant mural inspired by the landscapes of Eastern Washington. Featuring the Columbia River, native wildflowers, and a coyote representing personal transformation and self-reflection, their artwork creates a meaningful connection to nature in a space dedicated to healing and recovery.

Image 1 & 2 included: White Bluff’s Quilt Museum, current grantee of the Historic Grant Preservation program shows off this unique to***co quilt to the review committee. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, to***co and cigarette companies frequently included small silks, cotton flannels, or printed fabrics—depicting flags, flowers, and popular figures—as promotional "premiums". Quilters collected these pieces and stitched them together to preserve or display the miniature artworks.
