October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and RI's ABLE is celebrating by recognizing the skills, talents, and perspectives that people with disabilities bring to the workplace.

For many workers with disabilities, an ABLE account can be an important part of building financial confidence. Eligible individuals can save and invest for qualified expenses while preserving access to essential benefits.

Since its launch in December 2025, RI AnchorHome has helped finance 119 home purchases totaling more than $45 million for first-time homebuyers across Rhode Island — and today, we announced the program’s third phase to help even more families achieve the dream of homeownership.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders whose courage continues to inspire us. May we always remember the way our nation came together in the days that followed, and may that same spirit of unity continue to strengthen our great country.
