The Smiley Administration is proud to have supported this project with a $1 million investment from ARPA funds to provide 35 new homes for medically vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness in Providence.

My administration is investing in affordable housing that serves our most vulnerable neighbors, working families, and residents across a wide range of incomes in every Providence community. I'm excited to share that our latest investment through the Providence Housing Trust Fund will create 216 new apartments across three developments:

🏠 The Willard: 160 homes
🏠 Wunnáunt Apartments: 12 homes
🏠 327 Elmwood PVD: 44 homes

From deeply affordable units to homes for working families, these investments will expand housing options in neighborhoods across Providence and help more neighbors access high quality, affordable housing.

This National Minority Health Month, we aren’t just raising awareness—we’re advocating for change. True health equity requires us to dismantle barriers and ensure that quality, culturally competent care is accessible to all, regardless of race or background.

This April, join the movement:
✅ Stand with Science: Support research and programs that prioritize minority health.
✅ Know Your Numbers: Visit your local health fair or clinic for blood pressure and A1c checks.
✅ Speak Up: Advocate for policies that address social determinants like food access and housing.

Your health matters. Your voice matters. Let’s make 2026 the year we turn intention into impact!
