Congratulations to the kids and teens who showed off their artwork at our first ever Youth Art Exhibition last night--which they also organized themselves! From traditional sketches and watercolors to Perler bead art and pipe cleaner flower bouquets, we are constantly amazed by their creativity and talent 💚

The Washington Park Library extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Clint Rossi, store manager of Lowe’s for generously donating materials for our Carpentry & Woodworking 101 program with Tim DiPilato!

Thanks to his generosity, the program was a great success. Our patrons had a wonderful time creating and painting their own wooden pieces while learning new skills.

Thank you, Mr. Chris, for supporting our library and helping us bring creativity and hands-on learning to our community!

We had a great experience learning more about U.S. history. It was an entertaining and fun activity that our patrons really enjoyed at the library. It was a great opportunity for them to review historical topics, learn additional facts, and engage with others in a fun and meaningful way. We look forward to offering more educational and engaging activities like this in the future!
