🩺 Building the next generation of healthcare professionals!

Westerly was recently one of 14 Local Education Agencies (LEAs) that received funding from a federal Rural Health Transformation Program grant to expand healthcare-focused Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for students across Rhode Island. With the help of the grant, Westerly High School is taking its Medical Pathways program to the next level, giving students access to new, innovative equipment and hands-on learning experiences that will prepare them for future careers in healthcare!

Serving up something delicious in Coventry! 🍳

This morning, students at Coventry High School in the Functional Cooking 2 class hosted their first-ever food truck event! These students worked hard to build their culinary and customer service skills, and today they got to show them off by serving guests for the very first time!

We are so excited to see these students continue to build their skills and confidence through hands-on learning experiences like this one. Way to go, Coventry High! 👏
