Roscommon County Road Commission Road Commission - Road Maintenance and construction

10/21/2026

It's that time - reminder for residents to inspect, tighten, and repair roadside mailboxes before winter snowplow season begins.

10/15/2026

MDOT mourns the loss of the Eaton County Road Commission employee killed yesterday in a work zone crash on Lansing Road. This is another tragic reminder of the dangers road workers face in construction zones.

We implore all drivers to slow down when approaching road work, keep total focus on the task at hand, and give workers plenty of space to safely do their jobs.

Our condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of the young man lost yesterday.
