Come see how your Pumpkin Show items placed and check out all the creativity on display. We have so many talented kids in Mayes County 4-H!

Bring your change to vote for your club’s pumpkin! We also have lots of great silent auction items, and all silent auction proceeds go back to the club that donated each item.

Enjoy a cake walk, a make-and-take snack, and a craft to take home! 🍰🎨 We’ll also have popcorn, cookies, water, and lemonade.

🎣 Registration open: Oklahoma 4-H Virtual Trout Derby

Grab your fishing gear and hit the water from anywhere in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma 4-H Virtual Trout Derby is open to active 4-H’ers in grades 3-12, with competition running Nov. 16 through Jan. 18. Cloverbuds can join the fun, too, at no cost for bragging rights!

🍀 Mayes County 4-H Teen Leadership Council members Brynn Ball and Kallie Teed attended the Northeast District Youth in Action Leadership Conference last week!

They put their leadership skills into action by teaching a workshop. They also listened to a dynamic speaker, and made new friends from across the district. It was a great opportunity to learn, have fun, and grow as leaders!

We are proud of Brynn and Kallie for representing Mayes County 4-H! 💚

ExpOSUre: Livestock Docs at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds is right around the corner! This interactive event gives youth a hands-on look at what it’s like to work as a livestock veterinarian.

🍦 What’s the link between dairy and ice cream?

Mayes County 4-H Teen Leadership Council members Kallie Teed and Brynn Ball led an engaging presentation exploring that delicious connection! Participants ended the lesson with a special treat—homemade ice cream and plenty of tasty toppings.

🐔 The 2026 Mayes County Fair Pullet Chain Show was a huge success!

This year, we had 36 pens of pullets—the largest Pullet Chain Show we have ever held! We are incredibly proud of all our participants and the hard work, dedication, and care they put into raising and showing their birds.
