October's National DEA Drug Take-Back Event

We invite you to collect all your unused and expired prescription medications for safe disposal. Our National Drug Take-Back Event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026. This initiative serves as an excellent opportunity to declutter your medicine cabinet. The process is simple: drive up, hand over your medications, and leave the rest to us. Your participation is crucial in preventing drug misuse among our youth. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!

On Thursday October 15, Pueblo Police participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of the Special Olympics Colorado.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run has raised over $1 Billion for the Special Olympics since its creation in 1981. Annually, the torch run raises over $74 million worldwide and $1.6 million here in Colorado.

In Pueblo we are proud to bring together officers, athletes, families, and our whole community to champion inclusion and celebrate the determination and spirit of Special Olympics athletes.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, volunteered, donated, or cheered along the route. Your support truly makes a difference.
