Traffic Advisory: Charlotte High Annual Homecoming Parade (Wednesday 10/14)

The City of Punta Gorda would like to remind residents and motorists that Charlotte High’s annual Homecoming Parade will take place from the Charlotte Harbor Event Center to the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.

The parade will feature decorated cars, floats, and the Charlotte High School band. It is expected to begin at 5:30 PM and conclude by 6:30 PM.

Motorists should anticipate possible traffic delays along the parade route and in the surrounding area during this time. Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling near the parade.

The City of Punta Gorda appreciates your patience and cooperation as our community celebrates this annual tradition.

Crews are working in the area of W. Olympia and Taylor St., and the center lane will be closed during the project.

Flagger crews and an arrow board will be on-site to guide drivers.
