Thank you Granville Volunteer Fire Department for all you do for our community. Happy school had fun learning about fire safety with you!
*Fire Safety Parent Tip*
Explain the suit: Teach kids that the big coat, helmet, and mask are like a "space suit" or superhero costume that keeps the firefighter safe from heat and smoke. Our heroes can look and sound different in their superhero costume. Do not run or hide from them, they are there to help. 👨‍🚒🧯

Make your way to West Virginia Botanic Garden to meet our scarecrow, Growing Together. Inspired by the the wonderful givers that help us grow inside and out, from Dolly to our very own Lauren ( Food Pantry Coordinator). Get inspired to learn and grow with Starting Points and The Shack Neighborhood House . You can find her located just past the Garden's playground. Give her a vote while you are at it and enjoy the many others on display by local non-profits.
Many thanks to our wonderfully talented Ms. Sarah for her vision and creativity and the after-school program at Eastwood Elementary and the very talented members of art club for the butterflies 🦋
