Grief shared is a way to understand the feeling that is new and very uncomfortable and knowing we are not alone

When you’ve experienced loss, it’s so easy to feel like a burden. Like maybe you don’t quite fit anymore after everything you’ve walked through.

And those feelings are SO real.

But whatever it is you’ve been through, your heart hurts because your loss matters. Your heartache is not an inconvenience to be swept under the rug or shoved aside.

You are living the real, raw experience of life after loss, and that can feel especially lonely when it seems like the rest of the world has moved on without you.

Sometimes, the people who have known that kind of heartbreak are also the ones who understand how powerful it is to simply sit beside someone in theirs.

To listen.
To remember.
To offer a little piece of their heart without trying to fix what cannot be fixed.

Your loss matters. Your grief matters. And you don’t have to make it smaller to make other people more comfortable.

And if it helps, just know that we love you so much.
