HOPE 4 Phoenix Thankful Sundays I started back in 2014 feeding the less fortunate in the park. Thank you to all that donate. We can also make arrangements to meet to do donation pick ups.

Thankful Sundays, Helping Phoenix Homeless and AZ Ferret Rescue are under the HOPE 4 Phoenix charity umbrella which is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It's hard to believe that I formed this organization September 2014, and see it growing every month. Diane Simonian

We are a group of volunteers that rely on donations, fundraisers and our own personal funds to provide food, hygeine items, clothes and other necessities that make the lives of the homeless that we serve just a little bit brighter. Our volunteers come from all over the valley and there are many ways to help, even if all you can be is a pair of helping hands and a great big smile! If you'd like to help but can't physically make it out to the park, donations can be dropped off or call me, Diane at 602-672-5636. It looks like the menu has changed three times this week, LOL
We have barbecue chicken breast, we have what we call Burger in a bowl, biscuits I have snacks, I have Gatorade I have the water covered we're going to have brussel sprouts
Maggie Preising is making 40 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Glenda has 40 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
I will be making lunch meat sandwiches, salami and cheese, pepperoni and cheese, ham and cheese to go along with their meal. I know this would be a great treat
Jody Ste will be providing green beans.
Marijane will be bringing fruit and pastries and I forgot I also will be bringing cottage cheese

Glenda took some to her side of town, Sharon's headed out to feed 40 families at the hotel. We are going to have a fabulous dinner on Sunday

Most of you know Jeff who was once experiencing homelessness and now has been off the streets for about 4 weeks. I hired Jeff once a week or once every other week, to help me he does the ferret laundry, he does the ferret floor, today I had him organizing and cleaning out refrigerators and freezers. This message is so wonderful standing next to Jeff is Sharon Scott
Sharon owns a company it is an Airbnb that she's had for 18 years. She has officially hired Jeff to work for her. He was busy mopping floors and she says gosh I need somebody like you somebody that wants to work and I was like you got to be kidding me, I says Jeff you now have a job.

Hooking us up with this organization that has an abundance of food every week
Sharon Scott my most amazing volunteer that never stops helping me picking up food, dropping food off to me going out and feeding families that are left on the streets or who our house at a hotel but have no food. Sharon is an amazing woman.
I probably have about 400 biscuits, we have brussel sprouts, we have Garden salad I probably have close to 600 chicken breasts. It looks like Sunday is going to be an absolute feast along with the food I'm picking up from St Vincent de Paul. So once again our menu has changed, LOL
