Every day, our officers answer calls, solve problems, and serve our community with professionalism and dedication. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, outstanding service deserves to be recognized.
Recently, QPD recognized officers and civilian personnel for their dedication, hard work, and contributions to our department and community.
This year's recognition included:
🏅2 Outstanding Service Awards (Officer Carr & Officer Lafferty)
🏅2 Honorable Service Awards (Detective Naugle & Officer Hawke)
🏅7 Department Commendations (Lieutenant Mallery, Sergeant Moller, Detective Naugle, Officer Cabrera, Officer Engler, & Officer Hawke)
🏅3 Civilian Employee Recognitions
This year also marked an exciting milestone as we established our first-ever Officer of the Year Award! This award recognizes an officer who goes above and beyond in serving our community and exemplifies the values of our department.
Congratulations to Officer Smith, the recipient of this inaugural award! Since joining the department in 2024, Officer Smith has earned a reputation for his unwavering dedication, exceptional work ethic, and commitment to making a positive difference in Quakertown. Whether responding to a difficult call, assisting a fellow officer, or interacting with members of the public, he approaches every situation with professionalism, compassion, and respect.
Congratulations to Officer Smith and all of this year's award recipients! Thank you for your continued dedication to the Quakertown community.👏
