Come to our new Crochet class, every Monday from 10:30-12pm! Crochet is great for your mindfulness and exercising your creativity. All materials are provided for, so bring your friends and join us!

Happy birthday to all our members born in April! We passed around gifts and sang songs!

We also want to extend a very big THANK YOU to our volunteers as we celebrate Volunteer Day! Our dedicated volunteers freely donate their time and effort into making our center a better place for everyone. We deeply love and appreciate everything they do for us and our community.

This event provides community members with the opportunity to safely and securely dispose of personal documents at no cost.

Painting student Kathy Ly created this beautiful floral piece last week- amazing! Join in on the fun! Painting class takes place every Friday, 10AM - 12PM. Class is open to both beginners and advanced students alike.

NYC Aging is pleased to invite you to Dance Through The Decades, a celebration in recognition of the 33rd Annual National Older Adult Health and Fitness Day, Join us at Foley Square in downtown Manhattan on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, beginning at 9:00am. The day’s program will consist of Bend and Stretch exercises followed by a dance session lead by the Pacemakers.

To participate, all older adults must be:

1. Current clients of the NYC Department for the Aging or be a member of an older adult center or naturally occurring retirement community (NORC).

2. Physically able to dance/exercise for at least 45 minutes.

Thank you to SSG Hector Tirado for coming to our center to give a lecture about emergency preparedness. We had a full class today, ready to learn how to be ready in any situation!
