Congratulations to ACQC on the opening of their new community space in Woodside for young people ages 12–24! 🎉

Spaces like this are more important than ever. In today’s world, young people are navigating increasing social pressures, mental health challenges, isolation, and uncertainty about their futures. They need safe, welcoming spaces where they can build meaningful connections, access resources, express themselves, develop life skills, and feel a true sense of belonging.

Investing in our youth means investing in the future of our communities. This new space is a powerful step toward ensuring that young people have the support, opportunities, and encouragement they need to thrive. Congratulations to ACQC for making this important investment in our next generation!

THIS SUNDAY, WE'RE CELEBRATING FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY IN LITTLE MANILA! 📣

We're just 2️⃣ DAYS away from the first-ever Filipino American History Month Little Manila Parade & Block Party in Woodside, Queens! With even more sponsors, community organizations, and partners joining us, we're excited to bring our community together to commemorate over 439 years of Filipino American history, struggles, resilience, and contributions to the United States!

We're also thrilled to announce our incredible Masters of Ceremonies: Ernabel Demillo, Luis Pedron, Anna Lucente Sterling, and Jason Hortillas! 🎤

With favorable weather expected this Sunday, get ready for an afternoon filled with live music, dance performances, comedy, singing, line dancing, an interactive Little Manila scavenger hunt, Filipino American historical exhibits and educational resources, community tabling, special recognitions honoring Filipino American contributions, and so much more!

Together with Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Woodside on the Move, NaFFAA New York State Chapter, FANHS Metro New York Chapter, and our growing coalition of community partners, we're recognizing the generations of Filipino Americans whose struggles and contributions have helped shape Little Manila, New York City, and the broader history of the United States.
