Did you know?

Diapers are a basic necessity, but federal programs such as SNAP and WIC do not provide funding for families to purchase them.

For families already stretching a household budget, the cost of diapers can mean making difficult choices between basic necessities. That's where diaper banks and community support can make a difference. đź’™

Partner Spotlight: Salvation Army

Covered Bottoms doesn't distribute diapers directly to families. Instead, we work through trusted community partners who are already serving and supporting families in our area.

This month, we're giving a shout-out to Salvation Army for being part of that network and helping us get diapers into the hands of families who need them.

We're grateful for every organization that helps us turn donated diapers into real support for local little ones and their caregivers. đź’™

1 in 2 U.S. households with young children struggle to afford the diapers they need.

Diaper need is more than running low on diapers. It can affect a child's health and a parent's ability to work or attend school when child care requires families to provide their own supply of diapers.

That's why diaper banks and our community's support matter. Every clean diaper helps a little one stay clean, dry, and healthy. đź’™

We’re taking Covered Bottoms on the road!

We’re excited to share that Covered Bottoms Diaper Bank has launched a new delivery pilot program, with Beardstown CUSD #15 (Birth to Three) in Illinois as our first participating partner!

This pilot is helping us explore new ways to make diaper support more accessible to organizations serving families outside our immediate area. Our first delivery is officially in the books, and we’re excited to see where this program takes us!

Every mile traveled means more clean diapers reaching little bottoms that need them. đź’™

YOU helped bridge the diaper gap!

Thanks to the incredible support we received during last week’s Annual Diaper Drive, enough diapers and monetary donations were collected to:

🧷 Bridge the diaper gap for a FULL YEAR for 18 children
🧷 Bridge the monthly diaper gap for 209 children

That’s 209 children who can have the diapers they need for an entire month—and the equivalent of a full year of support for 18 children. 💙

Every package of diapers, every dollar donated, and every person who stopped by made a difference for local families.

THANK YOU to everyone who donated, shared our event, stopped by to see us, and helped make this year’s diaper drive a success. We are incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up for our littlest neighbors.

Together, we’re helping keep babies clean, dry, and healthy.
