🍪🥣 Crunching Numbers and Making Math SWEET! ➗🍪

Who knew division could be this much fun?! 🤎

Ms. Beverley’s 3rd Grade Class got hands-on with division by using Cookie Crisp cereal to practice making equal groups! 🥣🍪 Our young mathematicians explored how to divide a set into equal groups and determine how many would be in each group. Learning math through hands-on activities makes understanding these important skills even more exciting! 🧠✨

Nothing like a little cereal to make our math lesson extra SWEET! 😋🥣🍪

🍪🔔 Ding D**g! The Doorbell Rang… and DIVISION was served! 🍪➗

Who says math can’t be SWEET? 💚

Mrs. Dennard’s 3rd Grade Jellybeans had a delicious time exploring division and equal groups with an interactive read-aloud of The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins! 📚

As more friends arrived in the story, our mathematicians discovered how the cookies had to be shared equally. Students used homemade chocolate chip cookies, baked with love by Coach Dennard, to model division, create equal groups, and determine how many cookies each person would receive! 🍪👩🏽‍🍳

The best part? We got to EAT our math manipulatives! 😋🍪

💛💚Learning is SWEET in Mrs. Dennard’s 3rd Grade Class! 🍪

⚡💡 5th grade scientists in action! This week, we built electric circuits and learned how a complete circuit allows electricity to flow and light a bulb! 🔋✨ Hands-on science at its best!
