Recently several of our staff members, along with other local departments, completed the Virginia Department of Fire Programs Surface Water Rescue class!

Consisting of three days of class and totaling 30 hours of training, Surface Water Rescue is designed to train emergency personnel in rescuing victims in confined water (such as a pond or lake), or slow moving water.

Congratulations to all participants on their hard work and dedication!
