The Martin Middle School PTA board has voted to support ✅ the Wake County Bond and strongly oppose ❌ the two tax amendments on the ballot this election cycle! 🗳️
❌These Constitutional amendments may sound like tax cuts, but they will hurt our public schools 🏫 & public services 🚑 by limiting Wake County’s ability to raise revenue 💵 to adequately fund our school! Local governments across North Carolina would lose out on $950,000,000!
If these amendments pass it could mean losing teachers, bus routes and drivers, SPED funding, and more critical resources!
✅We support the Wake County School Bond. Many WCPSS facilities are aging and repairs and updates must be addressed before they become emergencies. This bond is one of the most fiscally responsible solutions for our county.
