🚒🔥 TRAINING NEVER STOPS! 🔥🚒

This past Saturday, the Ralston Fire & Rescue Training Department and Cadre Members teamed up with the Bellevue Fire Department for a day of hands-on skills and live fire training!

Through this valuable partnership, our members had the opportunity to utilize Bellevue Fire’s training facility to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and gain real-world experience in a controlled training environment.

For several of our members, this was their first opportunity to experience live fire conditions firsthand, providing invaluable lessons in fire behavior, smoke reading, and operating in challenging fire conditions.

Training opportunities like these are essential to preparing our firefighters for the emergencies they may face while serving our community.

👏 A special thank you to Bellevue Fire Department for opening your training facility to our members and supporting our continued commitment to training, teamwork, and firefighter development!

Open House 2026

Shortly after midnight, Ralston 102 and 131 responded to a still alarm at the intersection of 72nd and Main Street. The Ralston Police Department requested assistance with stranded motorists whose vehicles had become trapped by rising water from the overflowing Ralston Creek that runs along 72nd Street.

Several motorists were safely removed from their vehicles, and no injuries were reported.

This incident is a great example of the importance of interagency cooperation and community partnership. This successful outcome would not have been possible without the coordinated efforts of Ralston Public Works, Ralston Police Department, and local business owners.

We are proud of the teamwork demonstrated by everyone involved in keeping our community and motorist safe.
