Overview
The medical specialist is primarily responsible for providing emergency medical treatment at point of wounding on the battlefield, limited primary care, and health protection and evacuation from a point of injury or illness.
Job Duties
Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties
Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment
Instruct Soldier's on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course

Training
Job training for a combat medic specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including practice in-patient care.

Overview
This is NOT a civilian position. Musicians specialize in one (or more) of the following instruments/specialties: tuba, trombone, euphonium, bassoon, electric bass guitar, saxophone, flute or piccolo, oboe, clarinet, French horn, percussion, cornet or trumpet, guitar, keyboard, vocalist, and music production.
Musicians perform in a variety of ensembles ranging from ceremonial band to jazz band to small ensembles, playing all styles of music. They are primarily responsible for performing and rehearsing as a professional musician within different ensembles of an Army band.
Job Duties
Perform in all musical styles on your instruments, including (but not limited to): marching band, ceremonial band, concert band, classical, jazz, ethnic and popular music compositions
Perform on a musical instrument in a variety of ensembles, ranging from solo performance to full concert band
Tune an instrument to a given pitch
Transpose moderately easy music
Training
Job training for a Musician requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Va.
Some of the training includes:
Private instrumental instruction
Music theory
Sight singing and ear training
Group instrumental techniques
Percussion techniques

Receive and post documents to accounting/budget systems
Process treasury checks for payment and pay for invoices
Maintain files and prepare financial reports/travel vouchers
Review contracts, invoices and receive reports

Overview
The animal care specialist is primarily responsible for the prevention and control of diseases transmitted from animal to man, as well as the comprehensive care for government-owned animals.
Job Duties
Provide routine daily care for animals in veterinary treatment or research and development facilities. Perform physical examinations to detect obvious abnormalities and reports findings to veterinarian.
Calculate doses and administers oral and topical medications as directed by the veterinarian.
Assist veterinarian in surgical procedures and perform euthanasia when instructed by veterinarian
