***Temporary Road Closure / Homecoming Parade Notice***

In Celebration of Randleman High School's 2026 Homecoming, come out and join the community today at 4:00pm on Main St for the RHS Tigers Homecoming Parade. Tigers Football takes on Lexington Senior at Charles Gregory Stadium tonight at 7:00pm. Come out a bit early to grab your parade viewing spot and keep those eyes open for roaming cubs and adult tigers as the traffic starts to flow to and from the parade!

Fun Fact! While tigers are normally solitary animals, groupings of adults that come together on rare occasions to hunt are known as an "Ambush". A mother tigress and her cubs is known as a "Streak".

Parade Route: Begins at the South Main/Swaim St intersection by Randleman Elementary and Pugh Funeral Home. The parade marches north on Main St through downtown before ending just before the N. Main/High Point St intersection by Rojos, Ready Mart and Riverview Automotive.

Street Closures and Time Frame: Main St and all intersections along the parade route will be shut down at approximately 3:50pm. Affected streets will remain closed until the tail of the parade clears an intersection. Expect street closures to last from approximately 4:00pm to 5:00pm to be safe.

Road Detours: Official detours are not posted however, please take a look at the maps below showing the street closures and suggested routes around the area.

On National “Thank a Police Officer Day”, we are honored to thank all the men and women at the Randleman Police Department and other law enforcement agencies across the nation! The sacrifices and hard work that’s put in is never forgotten or overlooked.

🇺🇸 REMEMBERING 9/11 — 25 YEARS LATER 🇺🇸

Today, the Randleman Police Department joins our nation in remembering the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we will never forget the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken, the families forever changed, and the courage displayed by first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, military members, and ordinary citizens who made extraordinary sacrifices that day.

We also remember the strength and unity that followed. In the days after 9/11, Americans stood together — neighbors helping neighbors, communities supporting one another, and our nation united under one flag.

25 years later, their sacrifice still matters. Their stories still matter. Their lives still matter.

🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Today, we had the incredible honor of participating in the Coca-Cola Consolidated Touch-A-Truck Event at Victory Junction in Randleman.

Seeing the smiles on the children's faces as they climbed into our patrol car, turned on the lights, and asked questions made for a truly memorable day. We enjoyed every opportunity to interact with these amazing kids and share in their excitement.

Victory Junction is a one-of-a-kind camp in Randleman, North Carolina, that provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions—all at no cost to their families. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, Victory Junction creates a place where every child can experience the joy, adventure, and friendships that camp has to offer.

A heartfelt **thank you** to Coca-Cola Consolidated* for hosting this wonderful Touch-A-Truck event and to Victory Junctionfor allowing us to be a part of such an inspiring day. It was a privilege to support your mission and spend time with these incredible children.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to watch this important firework safety video. It's a little longer than most videos, but it is absolutely worth your time.

Every year, fireworks cause serious injuries, many involving children and innocent bystanders. The safest way to enjoy fireworks is to leave them to the professionals.
