Thanks to Bob and friend for sitting at the tables for our recent Meals on Wheels fundraiser at the Randolph Welcome Center in I-89, and to the people who baked something to offer to the public as they stopped by, and to the public who generously donated for this important program. We raised $637!

Wed., July 8 at 1 pm at the Randolph Senior Center:
Free Brain Health Presentation

Please join us for this very important free presentation, Building Brain Healthy Habits, presented by AARP Vermont and the Alzheimer’s Association, Vermont Chapter.
Information given is a research-based education session for adults of all ages who want to protect their brain health. This presentation explores how the brain changes over time and why taking action early matters. You’ll learn simple, evidence-based habits you can build into daily life to support memory, thinking, and overall cognitive wellbeing—steps that may even reduce the risk of cognitive decline and possibly dementia. Whether planning for the future or supporting a loved one, this program offers practical knowledge and motivation to take charge of your brain health at every stage of life.
This is a free event and AARP membership is not required. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information and to let us know you will be attending, please call 802-728-9324.

Many of our community members received treatment for their pets at the senior center by Mitzvah during their annual visit….Please consider donating to their immediate need, as explained below. Thanks!

🚨 MAY DAY Alert! 🚨We need your help!

During a recent mobile clinic, our ultrasound unit suddenly failed without warning. Without it, we are flying blind and that is not acceptable for the animals who depend on us. As a result, we have had to dip into our limited emergency funds to replace it immediately.

Just days before it failed, that same ultrasound saved a cat’s life. Ms. Kitty came in for what seemed like routine dental care but the scan revealed a serious heart condition. Without it, anesthesia could have been fatal. That’s not a position we ever want to be in again!

Now we need your help to rebuild the emergency funds we used before the next crisis hits.
