The goal of the CPIC is to review the existing Comprehensive Plan with the intent to incorporate action items in the form of Ordinance and Policy recommendations to the Town Manager and Board of Selectmen regarding the implementation of the updated Comprehensive Plan within 18 months.

Main Street sidewalk construction will resume on October 5th in the area of Lake Street westerly to the Alpine Shop. A new crosswalk at Builders Supply and a new ADA parking stall in front of Sarge's will be part of the work, also. All of the work is expected to take around three weeks depending on the weather.

The Code Enforcement Office is the key contact point for projects in Rangeley that involve the Planning Department. It is responsible for accepting all permit applications which may be under this jurisdiction, including referral to the proper reviewing authority.
