The City of Ranson recently became aware of a phishing email impersonating the City and requesting a significant payment from a local business.

If you receive an unexpected email from someone claiming to be with the City, pause before clicking links or making a payment.

A few things to watch for:

💳 Be cautious of unusual payment requests
🚫 Don’t click suspicious links or attachments

🍂 October Yard Waste & Brush Pickup

Our monthly yard waste and brush pickup is coming up this Monday, October 5!

Residents participating in the monthly pickup should have their yard waste and brush prepared and placed out for collection.

And don’t forget — Fall Clean Up Week is October 19–23! 🍁 This is an additional opportunity for City residents to dispose of eligible items as part of the City of Ranson and Apple Valley Waste’s Fall Clean Up Week.
