October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We recently met with Courage Connection and are pleased to share that they will now be available in Rantoul to support residents on Tuesday mornings!

Courage Connection offers support for those experiencing domestic violence, including help with orders of protection.

🍂 Fall Break Camp is almost here! 🍂

Looking for something fun for the kids to do during Fall Break? The Rantoul Youth Center Fall Break Camp will be held October 12th–16th for children ages 7–13!

🎃 Registration begins TODAY, October 2nd!
🍎 Lunch is provided
⏰ 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
💲 $100 per child
📍 Rantoul Youth Center, 1306 Country Club Ln.

Spots are limited, so be sure to get registered!

Registration is now live for the 2026-2027 Youth Basketball season! Call the Recreation Department at (217) 893-5700, stop by in-person or register online here: https://secure.rec1.com/IL/rantoul-il/catalog Registration is $45.

WE NEED COACHES. We cannot successfully run our programs without the support of volunteer coaches. Coaches receive a $50 credit voucher at the end of the season, good for any Rantoul Recreation program. Let us know at the time of registration if you are interested in coaching!

Registration ends December 1st. All games and practices will be held on Saturday mornings.

All practices start December 12th. Age groups and locations:

At the Youth Center:
5-6 yr old boys & girls
7-8 yr old boys
7-10 yr old girls

At the Forum Fitness Center:
9-10 yr old boys
5th-6th grade boys

We will be hosting our Annual Halloween Party on Monday, October 26th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Rantoul Family Sports Complex. There will be inflatables, games, free hotdogs and chips, and of course LOTS of candy!

This is a free event. Mark your calendars and start planning your costumes!
