PMHA is proud to operate 303 Public Housing units across Portage County! Our inventory includes 83 units designated for elderly and disabled residents, 8 for special programming, and 212 family units spread across six apartment complexes and scattered single-family homes.

Kent City School District DECA Inc. student Ja’Hayla Jones organized an incredible clothing giveaway service project for our Public Housing families! With support from PMHA staff who washed and delivered the donations, 22 adults and 50 youth across seven of our property sites received clothing.

Join us for our upcoming Landlord Orientation on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 5:30 PM- 7:00 PM!

Effective February 1, 2027, HUD is transitioning from Housing Quality Standards (HQS) to the National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE). The focus of this orientation will be on the key differences between the two standards and the impact it will have when conducting PMHA inspections.

PMHA Inspector, Chris Hall will be in attendance to answer any questions or concerns involving the transition.
