🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU TO ENBRIDGE! 🚒

The Ravenna Township Fire Department would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Enbridge and the Safe Community First Responder Program for their generous $5,000 grant!

Thanks to this funding, we were able to purchase a much-needed Sensit Gold 3 Gas Detector, an essential piece of equipment that allows our firefighters to detect potentially hazardous gases and respond appropriately.

🎃🚒 Another Successful Ravenna Township Halloween Event! 🚒🎃

WOW! What a turnout! This may have been our BIGGEST Halloween event yet! 👻🍬

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our Ravenna Township Service Department and the continued support of our Township Trustees! Our Service Department was busy on the grill, cooking over 400 hot dogs and hamburgers to feed everyone who came out! 🌭🍔

All of our trunks were a hit this year! Of course, the Fire Department can’t just hand out cool stuff without sneaking in a little fire and life safety education! 😉

💚 “Be Safe, Be Seen for Halloween!” We handed out glow-in-the-dark items to help keep our little trick-or-treaters visible and safe this Halloween!

🫧 “Don’t Let Fire Burst Your Bubble!” We shared Halloween bubbles along with important fire safety tips to help keep families safe!

We were also excited to have Jesse from the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Fire Prevention Office join us to share even more fire safety information with our community!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event such a success! We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting some new ones. We can’t wait to do it again next year! 🎃🧡

From all of us at Ravenna Township, Happy Halloween! 👻🚒

We are forever grateful for our relationship with the Youngstown Fire Department Training Center!

Several of our own employees serve as instructors there on their days off, and last night, our crews had the opportunity to get in on some live vehicle fire training!

Recruits Renner, Glenellen, and Keeble are nearing the finish line of their Firefighter I certification, and last night’s vehicle burns checked off another requirement toward graduation!

FFs Skilton, Paulino, and Swain also took advantage of the opportunity to get some additional hands-on training.

We appreciate the Youngstown Fire Department Training Center for continuing to welcome our crews!
