Braveheart Animal Volunteers Braveheart works diligently to provide medical care and rehoming of abandoned and unwanted animals.

We are always in need of donations of:
Laundry Detergent
Bleach
Dawn Dish Soap
Paper towels
Bedding, pillows, towels
Horse Feed, preferably high fat
Dog Food
Cat Food
Cat litter
Puppy Pads
Flea and Tick sprays and shampoos
Dog Houses
Totes

We have so many senior animals that, thru no fault of theirs, will end up living out their lives with me, and its gonna take a toll on me as three times this year alone I have had to say good bye. I do my best to provide the loving attention they need but sure would be nice to get adopters/fosters to focus on them, just one or two dogs at a time😔
Since 2014 the two longest residents,Augustus and Woodrow the LGD property managers, are now almost 14 so every day that they are able to slowly get up to head bump me is a blessing.
Thank all yall for the continued support for our Team Braveheart. Every tax deductible donation truly does count for more than you realize!
And remember, we have amazing cats at the Sherman Petsmart! Over 50 cats have been rescued, vetted and adopted out in last six months! Over 200 in 2025!

Zeus’s last ride was today. 😢Cancer had taken over his old body😭 Went from having to be caught in a trap by city officials several years ago thought to be aggressive to riding sh***un and such a lover although remained wary around some people he did not approve of. Well over 200 cats have been vetted and adopted out in the last year and still have soooo many amazing dogs waiting for their very own forever homes. Funds are very low for vet care, ongoing medicines, preventative care, and feed…. We are always in dire need for dry dog food.

This sweet blind and injured baby has been taken in and is almost ready for adoption. She is now about 25 pounds and most likely will stay same weight. She will be a sweet addition to someone’s home. Spayed, vaccinated, on wormer and heartworm negative!

Thank you for the dog food donations! Please keep them coming as we go thru about 200 pounds of dry dog food every week and there has been a shortage of food available thru the rescue food banks.
You can buy thru Chewy, Tractor Supply, Fix and Feed and more….
We cannot do this without you! And pls remember we have amazing dogs waiting for their very own forever homes:)
