We are happy to share our first 2026-2027 Eagle Grant Spotlight from our Student Ambassador, Davin Rowe

"In recent years, some Junior High students in Mrs. Crotty’s music courses have had difficulty properly handling guitars and ukuleles due to individual learning abilities and other personal circumstances.

This week, I visited Mrs. Crotty to deliver eight different guitar chord helpers and two ukulele chord pressers funded through ECEF’s Eagle Grant program. Through this grant opportunity, we are supporting students by providing a more flexible, accessible, and adjustable learning environment designed to meet different needs."

Thank you Devin for presenting Mrs. Crotty with her Eagle Grant items and thank you Mrs. Crotty for being an amazing teacher always looking for ways to adapt and bring accessibility to more students who want to play music. We can't wait to follow up to see how the items are working!

A BIG thank you to Bertie’s Inn for their continued support of ECEF and the Exeter community!

We were excited to stop by for a “big check” moment celebrating the proceeds from our September 8 Community Dinner Night Out. Pictured are Bertie’s co-owner Patty Miravich, ECEF Board Member Rory Bender, and ECEF Executive Director Ang Cooke.

Bertie’s has been a wonderful supporter of ECEF this year, not only hosting our Dinner Night Out, but also sponsoring our annual Golf Outing. We are incredibly grateful to Patty, John, and the entire Bertie’s team for their generosity and commitment to our community.

Our Student Ambassadors wear many hats—and sometimes bows! We loved seeing two of our ambassadors, Juleen and Angela, who are also varsity cheerleaders, showing off the mini foam footballs ECEF was happy to provide for the cheerleaders to toss into the crowd at home games.

After Friday night’s shutout win at home, we’re ready to keep that Eagle spirit going into Homecoming week!

Be sure to look for the ECEF tent at Thursday night’s Homecoming Parade and Bonfire. We’ll be selling water alongside the food trucks invited by the school district.
