Last Night, the 3-1 Reading JH Football Team took the field for the last time this year against the undefeated Quincy Orioles. Quincy came out firing with an early TD to take an early 8-0 lead. The Rangers took possession and methodically moved the ball down the field just to be stopped at the 1-yard line and Quincy responded quickly again with a TD to make the score 16-0. But,then the Rangers with just 7 seconds left in the half Waylon Funk threw a 30 yard TD pass to Caven Bassage to make the score going into the half 16-6. The Rangers offense would get the ball at the start of the 2nd half and keep it for the entire 3rd Quarter but a turnover at the 5 yard-line stopped the comeback bid. The Orioles tacked on another touchdown and won by a final score of 22-6. Congratulations to the entire team on an extremely fun season. It was truly a great team to be on. The team liked each other, got along with one another, supported each other, and if they continue to progress will have a bright future ahead of them!
