🍂 Tree & Limb Pickup Has Begun 🍂

Red Lion Borough's Tree & Limb Pickup program is now underway!

As our crews chip branches as they travel through the Borough, please be aware that wet limbs and branches can clog the chipper and slow the process down significantly. If your materials are still wet from recent weather, pickup may take longer than usual. Please be patient as our crews work to serve all residents safely and efficiently.

🚫 IMPORTANT REMINDER:
We will ONLY collect tree limbs and branches.

The following items will NOT be picked up:

Weeds
Plants
Flowers
Garden waste
Leaves
Any other yard debris

These materials can damage equipment and are not accepted as part of the tree and limb collection program. Any prohibited materials left at the curb will remain there and will not be collected.

🍂 RED LION BOROUGH FALL BRANCH & LIMB COLLECTION NOTICE 🍂

The Borough’s Fall Branch & Limb Collection begins Monday, September 28th.

✅ All branches and limbs must be placed at your regular trash collection site by 7:00 AM on Monday, September 28th. Crews will collect materials sometime during the week.

⚠️ Any branches or limbs placed out after the collection week will be the property owner's responsibility to dispose of.

Collection Guidelines: • Limbs may be up to 6 inches in diameter and 4 to 6 feet in length • Do not bundle limbs • Place materials at your normal garbage collection location • The Borough reserves the right to refuse items that do not meet these requirements and is not responsible for cleanup

🚫 The following items will NOT be accepted: • Leaves • Weeds • Flowers • Ornamental grasses • Any other yard waste materials

These items are considered yard waste and should be composted at home or taken to an approved yard waste facility.

🚗 PART-TIME PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER Help keep our downtown safe and accessible by monitoring parking meters, enforcing parking regulations, issuing citations, and maintaining records.

✅ Must be able to walk extended distances outdoors in all weather conditions

💲 $18.00/hour 🕒 Up to 20 hours per week

Flexible Schedule: • Monday-Thursday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Applicants should be available to work a minimum of 2-3 hours per shift.

🔨 PUBLIC WORKS LABORER This entry-level position involves manual and unskilled work assignments on maintenance and construction projects. Employees are expected to advance into an Operator I position within 18 months of hire.

🌧️⛈️ Severe Weather Alert for Southeast PA – August 20, 2026 ⛈️🌧️

Heads up, everyone! Steady rain this morning will give way to a much higher risk of strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening across Southeast Pennsylvania.

What to Expect:
Heavy rainfall could lead to flooding, with some areas seeing over 2 inches of rain.Damaging wind gusts and even a tornado or two are possible, especially later today.The National Weather Service may issue watches and warnings this afternoon and evening—stay tuned!

Timing:
Showers move in this morning, with storms intensifying south of I-80 and east of I-99 this afternoon and evening.
